Braden's choir Tux

I wondered why Braden's fees for choir were so much this year.  This handsome tux is why!!!
I had to beg him to get a picture, he doesn't like having his pic taken.

Fall break

For fall break we decided to spend some time with my sister and her boys playing at Trafalga. We then spent Friday night at Holiday Inn Express in West Valley.  It has and indoor pool that is like a mini Legacy center.  The kids had a blast swimming and playing, watching movies and sleeping in the motel.

We went out to eat and Hope fell asleep before the yummy food arrived.

We tried to get her to take a nap earlier but she was to excited about her new surroundings.

She had fun playing in the crib but didn't sleep well in it.

We came home late Saturday morning to do chores and then relax. It is great being able to just have fun together and forget about work, homework and house work once in awhile.

Bump on the head

Usually when I receive a text from one of my children during school it is just to say hi, or can you bring me such and such. Yesterday, I received a text from Paige saying that she had been hit in the head with a disk while in P.E.. I asked if she was okay or if she needed me to come and get her.  She replied that she had put ice on it and was okay.  I then received this photo....

She said that it looked good compared to what it looked like earlier.
I was proud of her because she toughed it out and stayed at school.  However, she was worried that her seminary teacher might tease her about it.  He didn't.

Dr. visit

Hope went to her 1 year check up.  She is now 32 inches (99th percentile),and weighs 23.9 pounds (84th percentile).  Her weight has slowed down which is good for me.  The crawling and walking has really helped.  She finally cut her second top tooth.  The other one has been in for months and I was getting a little concerned.  She is advanced in her speech. She is already putting 2 and 3 words together.  Baby's grow to fast, if you ask me.
The nurse gave Hope a succor before they gave her the shots.  Hope only cried for about 10 seconds, noticed that she still had the succor and stopped.  She finished the succor on the ride home and fell asleep.
